Pilates: Building the Body for Better Golf

Demonstration of two Pilates routines recommended for improving your Golf. Golf playing clients regularly ask us how to fix two problems. Firstly, a loss of directional control, especially when turning up the power; and secondly, hip pain. These two related issues stem from lack of stability in the hips, lack of strength in the core, and underuse of the upper back. Taeko shows how to use the rotational disk and a spring to work on improving these issues. The spring creates tension to train the upper body and core, while the disk under the back foot de-stabilises the hips, requiring additional focus in the core muscles.
